Capital Cup 2015 | Full Details & Registration * CANCELLED *
Level Six regrets to say this years Capital Cup has been canceled due to falling water levels.
"We have been following the rivers closely for a few days now and the trend is not looking good. " States Tyler Lawlor Level Six Co -owner and organizer.
"There is a lot of planning and organizing that goes into it and it is unfortunate."
The wave feature will simply not be in the condition it needs to be in to hold a competition worthwhile.
Unfortunate, is the SUP component downriver is cancelled as well.

The city and region of Ottawa/Gatineau is well known for such recreational sporting venues as the Canal, Gatineau Park and of course the Ottawa River which is world renown as one of the greatest kayaking rivers in the world. We are fortunate to have this venue in our own backyard.
The Level Six Capital Cup will take place on Bates Island, off of the Champlain Bridge on the Ottawa River (near The Ottawa River Parkway and Island Park Drive). The rapids beside Bates Island offer fantastic surf waves, perfect for performing tricks and aerials for paddlers of all levels. Bates Island is a great venue for both athletes and spectators, offering a clear view of the waves in a beautiful park setting. There is parking, washroom facilities and shady picnicking areas maintained by the NCC, making this a great outdoor venue for local sports enthusiasts and spectators. We have also added live DJs to the show to keep the crowd entertained, and the athletes inspired as well as a grand stand for your viewing pleasure.
The Level Six Capital will also have information stands available by:
